LGZ Launches New College Preparation Workshops

LGZ LAUNCHES NEW COLLEGE PREPARATION WORKSHOPS

Columbia, MD – The Lambda Gamma Zeta Chapter of Howard County, MD is excited to announce a new series of workshops that will help Howard County residents prepare for paying and applying for college.

The Nuts and Bolts series features two workshops; Understanding Financial Aid and Writing for Success. The Understanding Financial Aid workshop will be held at the Media Center at Wilde Lake High School on December 5th at 6:30 PM. The workshop is free to parents, students, and members of the community.

LGZ has been serving the Howard County community for 36 years. In addition to various partnerships and other community involvement, LGZ offers the W. Ruth Conway Scholarship for African American graduating seniors of Howard County and Women of Color attending Howard Community College.
